We collect what we need to make Sayso work for you. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. Your interviews, your content, your voice — that's yours.
What we collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and profile information through our authentication provider (Clerk). If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your credit card details.
Interview recordings and transcripts
When you complete an interview, we process the audio to generate a transcript. Audio is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored. Transcripts are stored to generate your content and improve your voice profile over time.
Voice samples and content
Writing samples you provide, content we generate for you, and your positioning profile are all stored in your account. This data is used exclusively to personalize your experience and improve your content output.
Usage data
We track basic usage metrics like interview minutes used, content generated, and feature engagement. This helps us improve the product and manage plan limits.

Data security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Database access is restricted with row-level security policies. We don't store passwords — authentication is handled by Clerk's secure infrastructure.

- Export your content and data

Cookies
